Potty training gone wrong

So Maddy has shown alot of interest in the potty recently. She tore the foam seat on her other potty, so last night we took her to Target and she picked out a new potty all by herself and we got her Dora pullups. So, she gets a pullup put on today and we start with the potty. Several times today she points at it, and takes off for the bathroom. Awesome, right? Wrong lmao. Every time she goes off running, I go in and help her get her pullup down and instead of sitting on the potty and peeing, she stands next to it and pees on the floor.:hehe:

Maybe she just can't hold it once she realizes she has to go? But it sounds like she is definitely getting the idea and will be there in no time!

Maybe panties would be easier to get up and down? I know pullups are difficult to get down quickly. I don't care for them...but maybe that's what it is? :hehe: How stressful, huh? Trying to get to the potty quick enough. I worry that my time is coming :lol: Sometimes I barely make it myself!
