Annie will be happy to hear that they are recommending combo injections in lieu of individual ones...she's got her 4-year immunizations coming up! :hehe:

Never will my kids have that HPV one.
Aidan has her first MMR comin up this month. We delayed it and I wish we waited longer :hehe:

I agree. If they want to get it when they are older, that's their choice.

I wanted to wait until Cash was 2 if I couldn't get the separate shots, but I was told a certain pediatrician here did them separately. I went to her for the measles one when he was 15 months because there was an outbreak and I wanted him covered. They lied repeatedly to my face that it was just the measles vax, when I tried to book him for mumps 5 months later, I found out they had given him the MMR without my consent or permission. I am still livid about that.

I'm with you, Tes. I don't trust the HPV vaccine one bit and I am still upset my mom took my little sister to get it without talking to anyone or researching it. Didn't even run it by my dad.

Uh, aren't there other ways for boys to avoid genital warts? Like...not having sex?! :hehe:
I'm still not sure when we should give Aiden his MMR...my pediatrician was cool when I said I wanted to wait until at least 18 months. That will be coming up here shortly though! Oh, and he needs chickenpox too. When to do that? Hmm.

Cash is up to date on everything except chicken pox, I am waiting until he turns 3. He's going to pre-school int he fall so he will have to have it before then anyhow.
We are up to date with everything. I pretty much follow the schedule. I just will NOT be getting that HPV vax for Matthew and I know his pedi stands firmly on the schedule so I might just have to find a new one.
You know Genital warts are quite deadly
