My daughter will be 2 next months and all of the sudden, shes boycotting naps. She lays in there signing, talking, yelling for me, kicking the side of the crib and such. WTH is going on? She cant possibly be dropping her naps all together....please no!

12ish, after lunch, which is when we ALWAYS do it. Shes back to getting up at her normal time after the time change and going to bed at a normal time.
I just gave her a book and told her that its quite time and she can read or sleep.

Dylan cut out naps at about 2 1/2...How long has she been doing this? Every since the time change Kyleigh has also stopped napping...And she's only 11 months...I'm anxiously waiting for the day we get back on schedule.

Oh thats good to hear-maybe she'll go back.
She has been sick but usually she'll nap more, not less and shes felling better today.
Shes been in there for 1 hour and shes just playing, which I guess is better than screaming. (knock on wood)

Cash seemed like he was cutting out naps around that same age, he really fought it and we'd have a few days a week where he wouldn't go down, but then he got back on track and his naps actually got longer (though they did start 1/2 hour to an hour later). Then in late September, he just up & decided he was done one day. He's had all of 5 naps since then, and 3 of them were falling asleep in the early evening in front of the tv, so not real naps.
I hope she gets back on track, I agree that it could just be the time change. Keep sticking with the quiet time and hopefully she'll start sleeping again.
Then again, you ARE 5 weeks pregnant, which is when Cash stopped napping for me so...he could have been slipping her subversive messages :)

Well, after an hour and a half of quite time in which she was happy and playing, I got her up. I cleaned, she watched Nick jr & helped here and there. Then we tried playing ball. She became super crabby and grumpy and I asked if she was tired. She said yes and went to her room. Down she went and it seems as if she's asleep for now. Hmmm....Maybe she just needs to go down later since the time change.
