I need some good vibes ladies. Dylan fell of my bed this morning i know this happens all the time but my bed is very high and we have hardwood floors.
I am so paranoid of head injuries since my uncle died of one 2 years ago.
i feel so bad.

Aww I feel for you, Cash fell off our very high bed onto our wood floor when he was about 11 months. I was SO freaked out, I called the nurse as soon as the pediatrician opened and she almost laughed at me, same with all the moms at the playgroup I went to that afternoon. As long as he doesn't have a bruise wasn't unconscious, I am sure he's fine.

I know it sounds funny... all kids will hit their heads but after my uncle had his head injury it effects me. I also remember a mom on another board told me that her 10 month fell 2 times on the tile floor and then he passed away. Well my mom hasn't called so no news is good news.
thanks ladies.

Oh I totally understand freaking out, don't get me wrong! A friend of mine's baby decided to roll over for the very first time off a bench onto a tile floor and got a concussion. You're 100% right to be worried & cautious, I just thought it was funny how it freaked me out so bad and everyone with older kids was like "Yeah, so? Did anything else happen?" because it just happens to every kid!
Wood is much softer than tile too. Tile freaks me out when it comes to toddlers. I was so glad when we moved in here because there's almost no tile in the house.

I feel for you girl. :support: I have hardwood floors in my house and Sara has fallen out of our bed twice, out of her crib three times, and off of the sofa twice. It is truly a miracle that nothing has happened to her and every single fall I was flippin out. As long as he is not acting weird he is more than likely ok. Our heads are pretty hard even at a young age and can sustain some hard blows to it. I'm sure he is okay. :support:
