She's getting to the point where she can almost reach the stove top :sigh:.

Any babyproofing tips? Outside of only cooking on back burners. I will start doing that. I just wonder if there's anything we can get to deter her from bothering with it? The knobs aren't reachable, just the burners.

That is exactly what I was going to suggest! ;) We should probably get one too.

Hmm, never had seen those. Looks like that's a good solution!

Em, how tall is Alice? William is at the point that he can just touch the top. We've been teaching him to not touch....he's pretty good at listening if we make out point. And we don't usually cook at the front if he's in there alone. Otherwise I cook and then we eat, so by the time we let him do his roaming it's cooled down. We have a glass top stove. I like those guards tho...they look cool and helpful!

I haven't had her measured in so long that I'm not sure anymore! I think I'm going to see if she'll cooperate with me after her nap so I can get a rough measurement. She's been off the charts for both height and weight for a good... 13 months of her life, I'd say.

We have the guard on standby. We had to put the knob covers on last week. She was turning them and they were leaking GAS! :faint:

So far she hasn't tried to touch the stove top.....

Cash is super tall too, but I've been making him scared of the stove since he was 11 months old, so he just walks near the stove and says "HOT! HOT! BAD!" :hehe:

 I've tried that, Lily! This girl is hard-headed. Definitely my daughter :p
