Anyone one have it? hear of it? know of sure fire ways to get rid of it?

Jorja had it for a year and we eventually rubbed her bumps off. She takes baths with Jasia and now Jasia has it. Jorja's were on her lower butt so no one could see them but Jasia's are on her stomach and she's enjoying showing people her 'bumps'. Our pedi says just let it run it's course (as most pedi's say unless they're uncomfortable) but I was looking at treatment to get rid of the bumps and there are quite a few out there. Just wondering if anyone else has had any experiences to share.

I've never heard of it. Is it a virus or fungus? How big are the bumps? What causes them? LOL I'll just google :hehe:

Its a virus, pretty common in kids and known as a STD in adults. It's contagious through skin to skin contact but it's harmless (hence pedi's not really doing anything). It looks like a bunch of small warts but they're skin color.

Never heard of this. I heard duct tape works for warts. :hehe:

i just looked it up and according to Mayo Clinic "Medications, such as those used to remove warts, may be helpful in removal of lesions, but can cause blistering that leads to temporary skin discoloration" I think i'd try the duct tape, it can't hurt to try right? I hope you find something to get rid of it soon :support:

I think it took Jorja almost a year to get rid of it. I'm really not sure how she got it -- maybe school?
