It's a long weekend here! :hula: It's been a long week and I'm looking forward to the weekend! We're heading up to my sister's cottage on Saturday and even though the weather isn't going to be the best it'll be so nice to get away for a day or two. :twothumbs:

I'm so ready for Friday. I'm not sure why, DH will be working all weekend and I will be busy with a graduation party and a wedding shower, but it always seems so much better when it's the weekend!

Well,normally I wouldn't really care b/c I'd have to work all weekend long. But I have tomorrow off, so I AM excited this time! Plus, it's that much closer to me not having to work any more weekends at all! :hula:

I'm looking forward to going out to dinner tonight with a coworker of dh's and his wife. Then, I'll probably be doing papers all weekend, but at least dh will be home to help with the kiddos!

I will be going out with DH, hopefully. We are getting a nasty storm and he still has yet to get home. This will be the first time Kaiya will be with a babysitter.. other then family members. Hopefully it all works out.

* Well those plans are out. DH just called and he is broken down on the side of the road. ARGH!

We're potty training this weekend soooo, no big plans. I am heading over to a really kick a** fabric store tomorrow though.

I love me my Fridays! DH has Fridays off so I get some help but he went to see the Yankees tonight with friends so I'm alone again. :)

Sounds like most are having decent weekends! Sam, I'm sorry your DH broke down on the side of the road. Was it during the storms??

Yeah it was during the storms but didn't cause the breakdown. It was something within the truck. Thank goodness it was at the end of his runs and not in the middle of the day.

I actually drove to where he broke down. The tow truck picked up his work truck and took it on to the place to fix it. DH didn't need to go with it. We had subway on our way home and went to Walmart ... woohoo!

We're having a yard sale in the morning but it rained ALL FLIPPIN DAY today! It's going to be soggy and cool tomorrow. DARN it!

Church on Sunday and then up to the OC again to meet my brother for lunch and a movie (Star Trek)
