To TTC before Eric leaves for deployment and be pregnant while he is gone. He'll leave in March or April and I'm thinking maybe trying for two months before he leaves and if it doesn't happen, it wasn't meant to be.

Hopefully I can handle being pregnant and running after a 2 year old...alone. :eek: I think I can. And this just sounds better than waiting until 2011!

I am excited and talked to DH about it last night. So we'll see!! :)

That is what we did. Although it was our first and I wasn't having to chase a 2 yr old around. It worked for us. DH wasn't here for the birth but got home within the month. We tossed around the idea of DH deploying again and trying to get pg before he left but the deployment idea got tossed when we found out it would be in a month.. no thanks. I like to joke that if DH had been home during the pregnancy he would not have lived... I love him but he would have driven me bonkers worrying all the time. So it worked much better for us with him gone.

He would be home for the birth. He will deploy for 6 months so it would work out perfect. If my next pregnancy was as easy as my first, other than the preeclampsia, then I could do it.

The whole deployment thing and timing is my biggest issue when thinking about ttc again....it sucks.

Yep. We'd start in January. If he leaves in February we'd probably start in December! Now I get scared thinking about it. haha
