Nope, I didn't put this post in the wrong place I am referring to Averie, not Kevin :hehe:

Since she weaned we haven't had an issue with her "asking" to nurse but she does like to stick her hand down my shirt and into my bra for comfort. I don't mind it at home when she's tired because I know why she's doing that and it's usually only when she's tired but out in public I am sure people probably find it disturbing! :p

My response is usually to just remove her hand and not say a word about it. I wonder how long this will go on for? Anyone have experience with this? She's only been weaned for less than a month so I assume if I keep redirecting her attention elsewhere she'll stop eventually. What would *you* do in that situation?

Let me know when you figure something out, cause Maddy is doing the same thing right now. And, she hasn't been breastfed since she was a newborn, so it's not that. She occasionally will put her hand down my shirt, but most of the time she sits on my lap and smacks at them or squeezes them. She is constantly looking down my shirt. It must just be an age thing.

Yeah, Aiden hasn't nursed since the newborn days, but lately he will just sit with his hand in my cleavage. DH thinks it's cute. :rolleyes: :hehe:

I used to just move her hand to my stomach...she got the idea after a while. :D

Cash still sometimes puts his hand down my shirt when he's sick or tired, it's like he vaguely remembers that there was something comforting in there once, but he isn't too sure what it was anymore. I just take it out & kindly tell him it's bad manners.

Yep. Addie does this and has since I weaned. She's pretty good about not doing it in public. It's almost always when she's tired an wanting to sleep.

Yeah, Averie does this when she's sleepy and that's it. I don't correct her by saying anything at this point but I do move her hand. I guess we'll try that for a while and if it continues I may have to get a bit more "aggressive" in my approach to getting her to stop.

omg lol William does this ALL THE TIME! He even started doing it to OTHER ladies that have low cut shirts...more out of habit I think - He doesn't look at the first just kind of reaches his arm over after they've been holding him for a few mins!

The other day when I was holding him he reached down a bit far over and grabbed my nipple! NOT fun! Specially since it was in front of my younger brother! He didn't seem too amused! :hehe:
