So I'm shopping for a new suit and so far no luck! I hate hate shopping for a swimsuit...that and bra shopping.
The bikinis I have still fit, but the issue is that they are not "Ava proof" the top is the triangle type so when I am holding her she would totally pull it aside and flash my chest to everyone. Ok for the backyard...not so much for public! So I'm looking for something more like a bra style or maybe a halter type that will stay in place.

Why are all the new styles held together by strings??? Seriously, I tried on about 20 bikinis yesterday and the bottoms were all tied together on the sides, not just decoration...if the string comes undone...your bottoms fall off! So, no thanks...I don't need to be worrying about my bottoms falling off as well!

I guess I'm going to try Old Navy this week, it looks like maybe they might have a good selection of mix and match tops and bottoms.

BTW...I am in love with a few of the Betsey Johnson swimwear collections...Jailhouse Rock and At the Hop SO CUTE!!! Of course I would never ever spend that much money on a swimsuit.:p

Well I think you suck for still being able to wear bikini's! :p Second, Yeah I hate that everything is held together by strings these days. I hated it even before I was pregnant with Conner because I felt so exposed!

Good Luck! I myself have to find one before next weekend. I'm about to wear a wet suit because it'll cover more! lol

I also hate you for being able to wear a bikin!! :p I'm sticking with my tankini for now, maybe I'll be brave enough to buy a new suit by the end of summer if I can get a lot less fat

I need a new one, too. Have you tried Target? Those Betsy Johnson ones are adorable. I love her clothes, too.

Okay those are REALLY cute! I never knew she existed, probably a good thing though

I got my tankini at Target. Although, I realize now that the top is a little loose on me so I may have to sew it to tighten the straps. I do feel semi cute in it.

I think I just need to tone up and wear my old ones, but I'm not confident enough!

My body has been way beyond being bathing suit worthy for years. Tankinis and skirted bottoms are the only I can go... :p

Hmm...I posted a reply a second ago, but I guess it didn't go through.

So, if it makes anyone feel better...I can wear a bikini but I have NO boobs!:roflol:

Heather, I did find some cute stuff at Target. I found a top I liked but they didn't have the bottoms in my size.
