This article really moved me

I was bullied to a degree in 7th grade, not quite as badly as this girl, but pretty close. In my case I don't believe any teachers turned a blind eye to it, since mine was almost entirely emotional, and it did make a difference that my mother was willing to stand up for me if need be, but in all honesty I didn't tell her the half of it, I don't even know why now. Embarrassed, I guess. Or I didn't want her to intervene and possibly make things worse? Anyhow, reading this made me think about the future when I may have to deal with either a child who is being bullied or (worse, in my mind) a child who is a bully and I thought I'd share it with y'all!
