Yes, I started it as a hobby b/c I LOVE finding good deals and I want to share them with everyone :D

To help find great bargains and FREE merchandise and share them with my loyal followers ;) Sometimes I'll randomly post about my life as a mommy and wife, but for the most part it's all about the bargains :hehe:

Do you advertise your blog? If yes, how?
Yes I do, i use Facebook http://www.facebook.com/BrookesBargainsOnline that is my fan page and it helps me to keep my followers up to date with the latest bargains. I aslo use twitter @BrookesBargains, but not quite as much as FB ;)

What made you start blogging?
It was my husband's idea acutally. He encouragged me to start my own website so I could share all my great bargains :hula:

Anything else you'd like to share about your blog or blogging experience?
Stick with it! I was ready to give up after the first couple weeks, but if you can build a following and once you start recieving feedback from your readers it makes it all worth it :support:

Yes, I have one but I dont use it much. I mostly use it as a journal to post my thoughts and feelings when something is really bothering me or feels very powerful and must come out.

I dont advertise cuz I lead a rather boring life so I dont figure anyone wants to read it unless to get some sleep.:p

Anything else you'd like to share about your blog or blogging experience? I am very interested to read the responses from the bloggers. My mom and a couple other people have been pressuring me to do this for a long time now.

Yes. I love to write and was what I first starter pursuing. I online met some great inspirational bloggers and have pursued it since. I've been lucky to make great connections and have some paid opportunities as a result. Some is fun & some is more serious. I usually blog about 4 x a week and feature a blogger on Saturdays. I've also helped customize and set people up with their blogs and help some like Brooke remember to pist personally too ;) (lol Brooke)

I'd love to start one because I am always finding interesting articles re: breastfeeding/birth etc. and I'd love to have a place to compile them all. But alas I can't figure out how to make a blog haha.

Do you have a blog? Why or why not? Yes, I've had one since 2001 and posted almost daily from 2002 until January of this year. I loved it, it allowed me to connect with so many people (I had 300+ readers) and makes a great reference tool for that 8 year period of my life, and gave me a somewhat creative outlet for my writing. But with Cash making more demands on my time, the creepy stalker that I picked up and Facebook making it so quick and easy to connect with people I actually cared about, I kind of let it drop.

Do you advertise your blog? If yes, how? No, never. It was suggested many times I try to make it into some kind of commercial enterprise, but to me that would have diminished it & made it less of a real window into my life.

What made you start blogging? All the cool kids were doing it.

Anything else you'd like to share about your blog or blogging experience? I always feel like I missed out on the blogging boat, as I was kind of over it & burned out by the time it became this trendy moneymaking thing to do.

Do you have a blog? Why or why not? I blogged quite a bit on my myspace blog but haven't been regular over there for about a year. I have a blogspot blog too.

What is the purpose of your blog? 90 percent of what I write relates to my faith and my journey through the part of my life that I can't always talk about to those that are around me. Being the wife of a church staff person means, we can't just share everything with everyone. I started my blog basically to write how I was feeling when I felt I didn't have anyone who would understand or that I had anyone safe to talk to that would want to listen.

Do you advertise your blog? If yes, how? I've given the link to a few friends, but otherwise no.

Anything else you'd like to share about your blog or blogging experience? I enjoy blogging but I get torn between wanting to have people interact and being afraid of it getting into the hands of the wrong people.

As a warning: like I said, my blog is mostly about my faith so it's a lot of God talk. That's a huge part of who I am. I wish I was in the place to blog about more, parenting, cooking, picture taking but at this point, those posts are fewer and far between.

a photoblog, yes. the "other" board started doing these 365 projects where you post a picture that describes your day every day for a year. i took off with that and started posting a picture of Addie every day starting on the day she turned 6 months. i was only going to do it for a year, but my parents basically live to see her picture every night before bed.

not really. on the 1 year anniversary of it, i started a facebook fan page and post last years picture and this years picture each night so you can compare. last time i checked we had about 130 fans.

One is a private journal for my thoughts, the second is private via email invite only for our families, and the third is my public SAHM Blog.

CHAOTIC is my newest blog, and although I don't advertise it, everyone is welcome to follow it. I've put the address on many of my contact info, here, on other Forums I use, Facebook and Twitter.

Just because it was something to do with my time, and helped keep my family and Joe's family up-to-date with our kids.
