My Computer got a virus!!

Yes my one at work did! They have been working on it all day. I guess it is some new bug that is really bad! And you can get it from any where. NICE. I am in another office missing my computer. I pray they get it fixed without killing it, I will be soo up screwed if they have to get rid of everything and start over. I have some stuffed back up but not everything I know BAD...

In many cases they have to wipe out the hard drive and start over, its the safest way to insure that the virus is gone. Do you have an external hard drive that you can store your most important files to? Most of these viruses tend to hide in your registry files. Hope they don't have to kill your computer, just did it to one of my computers in one of my stores, sucks big time!:steam:

That sucks! I just did a check of our system and talked with the host and they said that MH is free and clear!! :hula:

I hope they can fix it without you losing everything! I hate it when that happens.
We got a virus once, and I lost a lot of pictures. I was crushed!!!!

Everthing is good now! WOHOO They were able to kill it without killing my computer! Norton loged in and fixed it! It was really cool to watch!!

That's great!! I've had viruses many times (we're really bad about not having an anti-virus on our computer), and we've only had to wipe the hard-drive once. Does suck big-time!!

Viruses suck! I am bad about back up files too. I'm glad it's fixed though.
