My first day at the new job

went pretty good! It was ALOT of information to take in, and at one point I was thinking, "OMG, can I do this?!" But I'm having faith that I can. I have decided if they offer me the full-time position that I'm asking for a raise. I make okay money now, but this job is extremely intense, and it would well deserve more money. Matter of fact, the girl who I'm working for and who basically does the same thing as I will be doing makes $10/hr more than I do. So we shall see!

I am soo glad it went good Heather!! You will pick it up really fast! Hey even if they won't give you the money for full time.. Staying part time wouldn't be bad since you have Cohen and maybe more!!

I"m glad it went well. I'm a little out of the loop....what kind of job did you get and are you having to put Cohen in daycare?

Leah, it's an awesome job w/ a government contractor who does aviation training and simulation (think Black Hawk helicoptors). My title now is HR and Securities Assistant, but I really just help the Office Manager do EVERYTHING. I mean, there's alot of different fields involved.

It was fine leaving Cohen b/c my parents kept him my first week. This coming up week will be the hard one b/c he starts daycare. I'm a little nervous b/c I meant to take him by and let him meet the lady, but we never made it by there. So I'm going to just have to drop him off on Tues. with some stranger. Luckily he really doesn't have seperation anxiety, so I'm praying that doesn't start this week.
