So Isabella is cloth diapered. About 2 weeks ago we put her in a disposable for the night because I didn't time the wash right and they were not dried and I couldn't keep her awake any longer...
Annnyyywaaayy.... she woke up with a terrible rash. I mean her bottom looked BURNED. The rash for the most part cleared with a few applications of some bum butter but there were 3 spots that would not clear up. In fact they even blistered and the skin broke.
So I've tried everything over the last 2 weeks to clear it up; oatmeal baths, 3 different types of cream, nekkid butt time, etc. So finally I called her pedi this morning and he told me to bring her in. Turns out, the rash turned into a STAPH infection!!!!!!!!!!! I feel HORRIBLE.
Anyway now she's on antibiotics for 10 days and she needs an antifungal cream topically. Gawd I feel terrible. No wonder she screams when I wipe her fanny.
So they weighed her and she weighs 20lbs 10 oz. I have no idea how she's so tiny. After her appt we went to Subway and she eat all but 2 bites of a 6" turkey sub loaded with veggies:rolleyes: LOL and her little bag of apples.
But as my little peach was sitting there butt naked the nurse pointed at her thighs and said "but it's ok, she's clearly not starving" :lol:
