8 Weeks

This is a two-parter... :hehe:

First off, Thomas is 8 weeks old today (truly 8 weeks - he was born at 10:44 pm ;))! He had his check up and is doing wonderfully. He's 12 lbs 1.5 oz (up from 11 lbs 1 oz 2 weeks ago) and has met all his milestones. He's still not sleeping through the night and that's kicking me in the ass but I'll deal with it for now and start working on it in a few weeks.

Secondly, 8 weeks is about the time I started to EP with Ben so this is a big milestone for me! :hula: We've had no issues whatsoever (other than little to no sleep! LOL) and it's been smooth sailing the whole way. I'm so relieved. I was damn determined to do it this time (I did NOT want to pump again although I would have if I'd had to) and I think that has a lot to do with our success. That and hindsight. :hehe: I was much more prepared this time, knew what to do in certain situations and that has helped me more than I could have imagined.

So, we're 8 weeks in and everything is looking good! I'm still in the new baby fog but hopefully coming out of it soon. :twothumbs:

That is so awesome Elaine!! You should be VERY proud of yourself. I remember last time I looked to you a lot for pumping solutions and such and I know I'll be bombarding you this time.
