I hate it. :(
First Ben had a stomach bug then a few days later he started coughing and had a runny nose. Nothing serious but the cough is a yucky cough, the kind that makes you cough until you gag. He was a little off his usual self but nothing I was concerned about.
Now Thomas has the cough. His nose isn't as runny as Ben's but the cough is just as bad. The poor little guy. He's still all smiley and cooing but then he breaks into a coughing fit. It breaks my heart to hear him cough like that and there's nothing I can do to help. He's so tiny. He shouldn't have to be sick like this yet.
Blah. I hate when they're sick. :sigh:

I noticed that after the baby came, SOMEONE was sick every month for over a year.
:(
It's never been like that.
Good luck and I hope Thomas' cough doesn't get too bad :(

Sorry girl, sick kiddos are definitely not fun. :support:I'm sure your probably doing this but what would work on Sara when she was very young and sick was Baby Vick's, saline drops in the nose, and using the bulb syringe to get the boggies out. On Ben you could try Mucinex mini-melt, even though the package says for kids 4 and older my pedi said it was ok to give to Sara in moderation. Its an expectorant so it will help to loosen up whatever phelm he has.
Poor guys
Hope they get to feeling better quick! :support:

Ugh, no fun! Aven and I am both sick right now, and yes it seems SOMEONE has been sick in my house every week since she was born. Blah, I hope you all feel better very soon! :hugs:

Thanks girls. It's tough. I forgot to mention that I've got the cough too so I know that it hurts when the boys cough and that makes it even harder for me. At least I know I have to get the crap out so that helps me but it doesn't help them, kwim? How do you teach a toddler to hork? :hehe:

We've got a great aspirator (hydraSense) but there's really nothing to get out. Their noses are a little runny but nothing serious at all. If it lasts more than a few days I'll give our doctor a call but for now I'll keep them hydrated and hopefully it'll run it's course quickly.

I forgot to mention, Vitamin C works wonder. I've given Sara 1500 mg per day whenever she gets a runny nose and it kills the koodies quick!
