I use Photobucket to post photos but I just got this stupid bandwidth thing again. I had it last month and again now. I don't get it.

I've been using Photobucket for years and I've never gotten the bandwidth message.

You could try deleting pictures and see what happens. Maybe you've got old ones posted somewhere that you don't need anymore.
Check their help section too. There might be something there on bandwidth.
Try deleting some photos... but of course make sure that you privacy settings are correct... You might have someone linking to your picture on their page or post and that can take up bandwidth too.

I use photobucket too. It shows under Account Settings how much you've used.

Yeah, check your account details or whatever and it has a bar that shows how much you've used. I've used it since I was pregnant with T (6 years) and I have over 3,000 pictures on there and I still haven't hit my bandwidth!

You may have hit your monthly bandwith. I never had that problem until a few months ago it happened to me. Makes me wonder if they changed the limit because I use to use photobucket way more and never went over. Deleting pictures didn't help me I had to wait until the new month started.

I see your image is back but figured I'd post this anyway. I found it under Photobucket's help section:
View Your Account Bandwidth
Bandwidth is used when digital content is viewed from a link you posted on another website or sent in an email (e.g., MySpace, eBay, message boards, etc.). Bandwidth is a measure of the number of bytes passed over time via direct linking. It is calculated by adding up the size of each of your images or videos as they are sent from Photobucket. The “Monthly Bandwidth" number is the amount of bandwidth you have used within the last month. The month is determined by the day of the month you registered your account.
Example
You have various images of 25K each in size that are viewed by 100 users on your favorite message board in one day. You also have one video of 15000K that is viewed by 10 users in one day. 25K * 100 requests = 2500K (or 2.5MB). 15000K * 10 requests = 150000K (or 1500MB). When you add the two together, you have used 152.5MB of bandwidth in one day.
Important! Do not confuse bandwidth with your album size.
Bandwidth usage is unmetered for Pro accounts, however Photobucket reserves the right to disable direct linking on accounts that use excessive bandwidth or are otherwise abusing the system. Free accounts are allowed 10GB of bandwidth per month, and Pro accounts are unmetered. 10GB is hundreds of thousands of images viewed via direct links, and the value resets each month on the anniversary of the day you registered.
Bandwidth resets each month on the anniversary of the day you originally registered.
Example: You registered on the 5th of June, and your bandwidth will reset on the 5th of each month thereafter.
To view your bandwidth:
Log into your Photobucket account.
Look at the Account Usage panel on your My Home: Latest Activity page.
This panel shows the storage and bandwidth used by your account. This panel ONLY displays for free accounts.
Exceeded Bandwidth Message
If you have a Photobucket account:
Log into your Photobucket account.
Check your Monthly Bandwidth usage in the Account Usage panel on your My Home: Latest Activity page. If you’ve exceeded your limit, the usage bar is red, and the logo replaces your images and videos.
Note: When you upgrade to Pro, or when your monthly anniversary date arrives, the bandwidth resets to zero, and your images redisplay.
If you did not exceed the monthly bandwidth allowance, or you are not a Photobucket member, you probably have an image or video incorporated in your MySpace background (or other website) that is hosted in a Photobucket member's album which has exceeded the bandwidth allowance. Remove the code that was linked from Photobucket to prevent the logo from displaying.
You can avoid exceeding bandwidth when you get a Pro account, which has unmetered bandwidth. However, Photobucket reserves the right to disable direct linking on accounts that use excessive bandwidth or otherwise abuse the system.
If you are not a Photobucket member, consider joining Photobucket and using your own account to host the images you want to display around the web.
