UGH! So I have a double stroller my SIL gave me, but it is soooooooooooooo fricken heavy to lift in and out of my van. So I've been thinking about getting an umbrella stroller for DD and I can wear LO. But I want one that reclines back because DD is still only 18mo and naps in the stroller if we're out. I just don't know which one to buy or if I really want to invest in one cause "good" umbrella strollers aren't cheap. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

We have a Combi Cosmo and it's great. Not super cheap but well worth it IMO. It's got a 5-point harness, reclines (lays flat, I believe) and is easy to fold up and tote around.

ETA - Here's a pic. I forgot about the carrying strap on the back. It's definitely handy and I use it all the time. Great for going from the car to the store then putting baby into it (like in crappy weather).

The Maclaren we own does not recline all the way down for napping. So I'm not much help.

My girlfriend just got this one and is really happy with it. It also comes in hot pink/black. It reclines, has a large basket, a cup holder for parent, and a snack tray. It's hard to find all these features on a lightweight stroller and it is very reasonable too. If I didn't already have so many strollers, I'd probably buy it too! :p

It's kinda pricey, but have you thought about the Joovy Ultralight Caboose? It's really lightweight, compact and eventually when DD gets bigger, she can go in the back while DS goes in the front.

I don't care if it reclines all the way, just a little, some umbrella strollers don't recline at all and I don't want that. Does yours reclne at all?

Hmmm this is one to think about, thank you! I'd like to see it in person, see how big it is.

I had a sit and stand and traded my SIL for the double because DD will not sit on the back right now.

I like it a lot but it's not really built for big walks if you know what I mean. No umbrella stroller is because the wheels are too small. When I go out for a walk I use the Phil & Ted's but if we hit the mall or something we use the Combi.

We had a Graco Quattro Tour but it was just too big and clumsy and took up most of the trunk so we splurged and spent the money on the Cosmo. The Flare is cheaper but I don't know if it reclines at all. I assume it does because it's not a complicated mechanism, it's just strings (that sounds bad but once you see it you'll know what I mean LOL). We splurged again and bought the Phil & Ted's but a good portion of it was paid for with insurance money from when our basement flooded and the Graco was ruined.

Yup. A Sport. Love it. I didn't want a tandem or a double wide and be stuck with it when Ben doesn't want to be in the stroller anymore or when he's in school next year. We bought the P&T because it can be a single or a double. I used it with just Ben for months and it was awesome. I've used it a few times with Ben sitting on top and Thomas lying down and it was great too. I wish I'd bought a jogging stroller years ago (even though I don't job :hehe:).
