PP hair loss

So, the postpartum hair loss kicked in at about 10 weeks PP and now I'm almost 16 weeks postpartum and it's still coming out whenever I wash my hair or brush my hair, or just random times during the day. Does anyone remember how long this lasts? It's more of an annoyance than anything else.

I think mine lasted until Aiden was about 4 or 5 months. DH haaaaaated it because I clogged the shower drains so quickly. :rolleyes:


I hope it stops soon for you. It sure is sad to see all the hair fall. :hehe: :support:

Not sure. i never had it with Matt but I did chop my hair off (:puke:) so it might have been way too short to notice.

This is exactly WHY I chopped my hair off after Cohen. It started about 4 months ppd and lasted a couple of months. I've started noticing it here recently.

Yep. I have hope because last time it didn't seem to last too terribly long and I BF Andrew, too. My husband wiped the floors down today and he said I must be shedding like a dog! Every day I have to wipe the hair from the drain before I take a shower because there's a good-sized ball of hair. Sorry that's gross.

Mine just started it only lasted a couple of months with Eli.. This time around it doesn't seem to be falling out in the hand fulls like before.

My PP hair loss is still in full swing. I swear half of my time spent in the shower is picking it off my hands and body. Blech.
