Crazy!!!

I think it was on Friday or possibly Thursday night (baby brain here) but a girl was almost raped right outside my parents house!!!!!!:look:

My mom and sister heard screaming but they thought it was kids and they were in the basement so they didn't see anything but the guy next door saw it all and was screaming out his window. The girl did not get raped THANK GOD but the guy was on top her.

It's so scary and crazy. My parents neighborhood isn't bad at all and I never felt unsafe going outside. My mom says she is going to keep a broom by the door from now on :eyeroll:

Seriously. I was like Ma get a bat!!! She doesn't want to get in trouble and she said she'd wack the guy in his balls...if you saw my mother you would die because she's a chunk and can hardly walk.

But yes, thank god the girl was alright! (a week before a kid was mugged for his phone and ipod--my parents neighborhood is not bad like I said so it's just weird.)

That's so scary! What happened to the guy? Did he get arrested at least?? I am so scared to go outside at night, I'm just a chicken that way :blush:

I do have to giggle at the broom! Sheesh, I can think of many other objects I'd rather have, but I guess if nothing else, a broom might work. That is very scary, though. The world is just a different place than it use to be, kwim? My parents use to never even lock their doors at night b/c I grew up in a country town with little to no crime rate. Then stuff started missing from people's garages, and they had to start putting the garage door down. Then my BFF's Dad's car got stolen out of his garage! Weird, crazy stuff. I'm really glad the girl is okay and hope that the dude's sitting his little happy @ss in jail right now.

I'm not really sure what happened with the guy. My mom didn't see it because she was in the basement and figured it was nothing--I mean who really thinks that something that terrible is going on outside their door?? Now she is extra alert though.
