That's what I hear from Ms. A-dawg as I'm cleaning up her toys while she eats lunch.

I look and her finger is up her nose.

I say, "Stop picking your nose! Ew!" and she takes her hand away.

That's when I see it.

A piece of corn. In her nose.

But I can't get it out and she doesn't know how to blow.

So we pile into the car to go to the doctor's. (She's in a diaper, Dylan is in jammies and I am in cute stuff, but no bra. Classy. I just didn't want to wait and have her push it farther up there! :hehe: )

On the way, Dylan gets out the corn...plus another corn kernal and a black bean.

We stopped at Henry's work so I could look inside with a flashlight...all clear.

But dang! Stop that, little girl!!

Oh ME TOO! Lord knows we would have caught something in there.

Dylan never did this.

Oh no! I know someone who put a bean up their nose as a kid and it sprouted. No one knew because he didn't complain...until it started stinking. Yuck.

I stuck an eraser in my ear when I was in first grade and the teacher wouldn't believe that I had something stuck, so she kept pushing it farther in my ear trying to look for it. She finally sent me to the principal's office and said to have my mom come get me. Long story short, my doctor gave me all the little tiny pieces in a ziplock baggy to take to school the next day. :thumb:

We had the same thing happen... little freeze dried corn... about 5 of them. We weren't sure if she stuffed them up her nose or somehow inhaled them up through the back of her throat ( I was watching enough to know that she really didn't have time to shove 5 up there without me seeing) I got out the tweezers and got them out... plus the sneezing helped :hehe:

My brother once shoved a whole little box of raisins up his nose. REEEAAALLLLY packed them in.

I remember an episode of House where this kid kept coming into the clinic with toys stuck up his nose - like a fireman and something else, and the third time he came back, House discovered there was a kitty or something WAAAAYYYY up in there, and the kid kept shoving rescue personnel up into his nostril after it HAAA

Wow that's pretty scary. I did the same thing as a kid except with beads that my mom was putting in my hair. I forgot this is something I need to be watching Layla for. I know you're glad Dylan was able to get everything out for you.
