I am so envious of the moms that I see at the mall. I wish i could take my kids out to stores by myself.
Do you take yours?

I only have the one, but yes, anywhere I go or want to do, he goes. :hehe:

Well I only have one too so I do for now. I'm sure it'll be a lot harder with 2.

Yes. I have no choice so I suck it up and just do.

I think I have been shopping without at least one kid approximately 3 times in the past 4 1/2 years :hehe:

I only have one right now, but I take her shopping with me all the time. I always keep her in the stroller, though, because she doesn't stay with me otherwise. I don't know about taking two kids, though.

Yup, Ive always gone to the stores with all the kiddos. Its very rare that I dont go with all or at least one, and I mean VERY rare.

I take the baby but I HATE taking Dylan!
She wants EVERYTHING and then pouts when I ask where her money is
But the baby will go anywhere...she's easy to please...especially after a nap!

I ask this because my two are horrible in the stores. Dylan takes off, Sadie wants to sit in the stroller. It's so hard to keep them still, I mean Sadie is a total 2 year old around Dylan

:ditto:
I only have one, but most of the time (unless it's naptime, bedtime or i stop on my way home from work- and he's with daddy) he is with me.

Absolutely. Had to take them all to about 10 different stores just this week alone. It is just not convenient to plan "kidless" trips. Besides I could not stand planning my trips to the store that way. They are definitely not always good and sometimes I wish I could "forget" a couple at the store but how else will they (and I) learn if we don't ever do those things?? I am a strong believer that kids learn from repetition and experience so taking them to the store and CONSTANTLY saying "NO!!!" helps them learn...:roflol:

But you think they'd "get it" after the 432,932,102th NO!

I've been taking Cash shopping since his first trip to WalMart at 3 days old. He started going to the mall without a stroller around 16 months and because we started so young he's really good about staying near me and not running off.
Now that there's 2 kids, I usually try to go for groceries or whatever when Cash can stay with Daddy and I only have to take Daisy but if need be I take them both. And I'm going to brave the mall with 2 of them on friday!

Yup. Everywhere I go, they go. Ru likes going out so for the most part its not a big deal. Back when I did daycare when she was a baby... I would go shopping with my kids and the daycare kids. I had Ru in the MT on my back, a baby I watched that was the same age as her in the Ring sling on my front, one kid in the cart and the two older kids walking with me.

I only have Sara and I take her everywhere I go. Most of the time she is good but there are times I want to pull out my hair.

I try to go to stores when Conner is in bed. He does go to stores and is usually good but I think he just gets bored and restless so if I don't have to tale him I don't.
When Eric is home we all go together though.
Yep! Matt goes everywhere with me. He's actually really good in the stores. He loves the shopping cart now (got over his fear) and smiles at people. I usually make sure to bring a snack so he is occupied but I don't go anywhere like clothes shopping for myself or anything like that.

Yep, they both go everywhere with me. It's kind of rough sometimes, especially if they're grumpy, so I try and plan things around their shared nap.

Yeah, they all go with me. It's actually not that bad. I put L in the carrier, R goes in the stroller or cart and T walks and helps me. They like shopping and usually we get ice cream on the way home as a to say thanks for being good.

DH actually does more shopping than me, and he usually goes on his way home from work so he's alone. Sometimes I take them though. I'm not sure I've had to take both at the same time yet by myself. Duncan is really good and stays with me, so he's not a big deal. I just don't like the pain of getting both of them into and out of my two door car.

Don't you love when things just magically appear in the cart... I get to check out and I'm like, :wtf: ...while Dylan tries to distract me by asking about a math question

Sam was great in the store for a long time, then he went through a horrible tantrum phase of "I want"s. AHHHHHRRRR. Now he is good except when we go to a store with those horrible car carts - he wants to sit in it, and he whines for it, and then he wants in and out and in and out. He cries to get in, he cries to get out. He cries when I tell him he's getting time out if he doesn't stay put. I hate it...and so I try to go to stores that DON"T have the car.

Lauren, Sadie is the same way and she's 5.
I can't get her to go anywhere with me unless they have those.

I take them with me because I have to most of the time BUT if I feel like it, sometimes I go grocery store late at night when James is home just so I can go alone......and I take.my.time. :hehe:

I do... Eli is really good but I have been taking him out & about since she was a week old. I think kids learn how to behave in public by keep taking them and taking them.
