Hi, my name is Cathy and I am pregnant with my first. We're pretty sure its a boy. He was a bit shy at my last ultrasound but the midwife is pretty sure she saw boy parts.

I've been living in Amsterdam for a year now with my husband and our doggie,Sophia. We're originally from the US. I don't know a lot of women here yet and even less women with children, so I've been relying on the internet for most of my support.

Thanks! I am technically due on 17 October, however I have diabetes so the plan is to induce me around the 4th.

As of this Thursday, we'll have been living in Amsterdam for a year.

Yep that is me! How funny. I mostly use that LJ for communities now. I started one called "AmsterDamsel" to chronicle our adventures abroad, but I must admit I've been slacking with my posts.
