Summer plans?

Anyone go away for the summer?

Do you go to the same place every year or do you mix it up?

I have Heather and Cohen coming to visit in 2 weeks! :hula: and then all I have planned for the summer is VEGAS in 1 month, 3 weeks, 2 days. Besides that stay in Chi-town.

I'm not going away but my Parent's are visiting us at the end of August and yeah... that's about it.

We'll be spending an awful lot of time at my sister's cottage this year (they bought it in January) but other than that we have no plans to do anything or go anywhere. We just take it as it comes and if we do go anywhere it's usually a last minute decision.

We are taking Eli to Columbus Zoo and Cosi for a weekend this summer, we will go to the mountains a couple of times I am sure... Other than that none... I hope to maybe next year take Eli to Myrtle Beach. That is where I spent my summers as a kid..

Initially we wanted to take a vacation each summer however, this summer we're forced to skip vacation because we're moving. So, either spring break or summertime next year I believe we're taking a c-r-u-i-s-e.

We're going to Florida for a week with the inlaws and James' sister's family. Then, when James and the boys goes home, me and Ekaterina will stay and meet my sister. She's treating us to a week at Disney. :)

We don't have a set place we go every year and usually we don't go anywhere.

We don't have any plans set in stone but I think we might be going to Vegas for a weekend and possibly San Diego towards the end of summer. We made plans to NOT go home this year! :hula:

Nothing here. I don't think we're going anywhere this year unless DH gets his Fridays back at work and I can find a p/t thingie on the side.

I've got the kids enrolled in a few classes, but we're basically doing same-old, same-old here. If my parents go on a trip of their own, it's possible we'll attempt another weekend in San Diego, using their house as H.Q.. We'll see. Last time Talia stayed up all night talking incessantly, so we're a bit worried. LOL

We are going to San Diego in two weeks. We will visit my mom and best friend there as well as MIL. SIL and her husband and kids are coming from Denver to San Diego too, so we will hang out with them. We are going to take Talon to the zoo, the beach and a Padre baseball game.

In August we are going to Denver to visit some of dh's family....and his grandma from WA is supposed to make it there too...she wants to meet Talon really bad. She's 91 and just fell and broke her pelvis and messed up her shoulder/arm, so we are hoping she recovers and gets there. ;)

I don't know if we'll get anywhere. I have Vegas in 1 month 2 weeks and 5 days :hula: but I don't know if we'll go anywhere else. We usually travel to both Ohio & PA to see family, and last week we spent a week at the beach. But, well, now we live at the beach, so that's out :P It all depends on dh's work schedule, it is some kinda crazy now.
