I have discovered some brands new to me in searching for some high quality, flexible footwear for Talon as a new walker and thought I'd share.

The first are Rileyroos. My favorite so far. They are super cute and one of the most flexible shoes I've seen. Talon has a big foot for his age and I have found it hard to find flexible soled shoes for his size foot. These go up to size 18-24 months, which is supposed to be about a 7.

Shoebuy.com has tons of shoes, including the rileyroos and they offer free shipping to you and back to them if for any reason you're not happy or they don't fit. They also have a coupon code right now "Summer" for 20 % off and if you register your e-mail with them you get another 10% off. What a deal!

The second brand is Pediped. Also a great, flexible and cute shoe for babies toddlers new to walking. These run a little on the small side in my opinion. The largest is 18-24 months and is equivalent to 5.5-6. They are having a special promotion/sale right now where the shoes are 50% off and they donate to the Make a Wish Foundation. Here is the website on that!

Third is See Kai Run. They have some really cute, flexible shoes but are somewhat pricey and I can't seem to find a good deal on them.

Just thought I'd share my shoe research with you ladies. :p Any particular brands that you have had good luck with?

I'm gonna check these out! Conner's first walking shoes were New Balance, extra wide because I couldn't get anything else on his feet. But now they are thinning out and he can actually fit into normal shoes so I want to buy him more!

Ben has super wide feet and the only shoes we can find in extra wide are Stride Rite and New Balance. Both are pretty pricey here but NB are cheaper so they're my favs right now. :hehe: Stride Rite do have some cute shoes though.

We bought Charlie some Milo and something shoes for his first walking shoes and now he has some sandals from the same boutique. Is it bad I don't know the names? I just know that he likes them, they're flexible, and they fit.

I don't think it's bad you don't know the names....I think it's bad that I do. ;) I have a shopping problem. :p I have just found to be particular about his shoes for now because he had some that were not very flexible and he would constantly trip over his own feet.

William isn't walking so for now I loved the soft sole leather shoes. But I did buy him some Robeez Tredz for when he is over a year. I got a great deal on them.
